California has one of the largest auction markets in the country. Many association members conduct auction sales not only in the state but nationwide. Their auctions draw bidders from all 50 states and internationally.

It is with much sorrow that the CSAA informs you that auctioneer Chuck McAtee was involved in a head-on collision Tuesday, May 6, and did not make it through the accident. Funeral Services were Wednesday, May 14.

2008 CSAA Auction Advocacy Day

Please join the California State Auctioneers Association (CSAA) Board of Directors will be visiting the state Capitol for its annual Auction Advocacy Day. Auction Advocacy Day will begin at 9:00 a.m. at the Capitol.
CSAA Board of Directors and members will be meeting with legislators to discuss the association, the auction industry, and other important issues related to the auction profession and member's businesses.
Attendee's can either meet at the Holiday Inn Capitol Plaza, 300 J. Street, Sacramento, CA 95814 at 8:00 a.m. or meet CSAA members in the rotunda at 8:45 a.m.
